Although Dr George Lewith was not one of our members, some of us knew him in the 1970's when he began to use acupuncture in his General Practice in Liverpool.

He moved to the south of England and became a member of the BMAS.

I have been informed that he died suddenly while on holiday in Austria.

On behalf of the BAWMA Executive Council and Members of the BAWMA, we wish to convey our deepest sympathy to Dr Lewith's family and friends. We know he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Dr (Ac) George Nieman

Founder and Life President of the BAWMA
