UPDATED advice for Members

"At present the government advice is still to stay at home if you can. However certain services are able to reopen. There is still a grey area with regard to acupuncture and it is not clear within the government guidelines if we are okay to open or not.

Having reviewed a number of websites including gov.uk, nhs.co.uk, balens.co.uk, medical-acupuncture.co.uk, acupuncture.org.uk and aacp.org.uk we are now advising our members that in emergency situations only they can now treat clients.

To do this they must adhere to the protocol set out on the bawma website 'COVID-19 information for member regarding re-opening'.
