**UPDATED COVID INFORMATION**

I hope this email finds you safe and well. There are two points to this email.

Firstly we are trying to keep you as up to date as possible with regard to the pandemic. There has been further guidance from the government with regard to COVID-19. They have advised beauty salons, nail bars and tattoo studios in England can now reopen safely. This does not affect us as acupuncturists, but it is important in that it states “only services that do not involve work in the highest risk zone – directly in front of the face – should be made available to clients”. From this I would like to remind you that, in England and also from this week Northern Ireland, you are safe to practice acupuncture on your clients – as long as you adhere to the guidance we have set out on our website (bawma.co.uk) and do not needle the face, this, obviously, means that facial enhancement acupuncture is not permitted at this time. Scotland is looking to allow acupuncturists to reopen from July 22nd and Wales from July 27th.

Secondly, we are looking at starting the new course, hopefully still in late September, early October. If you know someone who may be interested then please do refer them. If you do then we will send you £100 as a thank you when they pay their deposit. Please just ask them to mention in the application that you have referred them.
