JUSTIN SHANAHAN

 

Justin is the Principal of the academy. He joined BAWMA in 1999 and studied under George Nieman, the academy's founder. Having graduated, Justin remained with the academy and started to teach. Justin has a great passion and commitment for acupuncture and BAWMA. He was appointed as Vice Principal and then to Principal. Justin has extensive healthcare experience. His 25 year nursing career included positions as nurse practitioner, ward manager, and staff nurse on a number of wards. He currently works as a clinical skills tutor at the University of Liverpool, teaching medical students.

     

                                             

EMILY DONCASTER

 

Emily trained as an adult nurse in Liverpool and has always had a passion for promoting natural health, wellbeing and beauty. She completed her BAWMA training in 2013, shortly followed by the BAWMA CPD in cosmetic facial acupuncture. Emily was delighted to be offered the opportunity to work as a BAWMA tutor for the academic year 2013-14, and has thoroughly enjoyed the experience of sharing her knowledge with BAWMA students ever since. Previously Emily has lived and worked in the Arabian Gulf for over a decade, speaks arabic, and it is to the Middle East that she wishes to return in the future to introduce BAWMA services
