Fellow of BAWMA and life member. BSc(hons) RGN, RN(USA) Lic. Ac. is the principal of the academy and has been for a number of years now, having been the vice principal previously. He has been teaching for the academy for the last 15 years and is also the chairman of the committee. His main areas of interest are sports injuries. His background is nursing having worked in a number of roles over a 25 year nursing career including a nurse practitioner at a walk in centre, ward manager on dermatology and cardiology wards and a staff nurse on a number of wards. He currently works as a clinical skills tutor at the University of Liverpool, teaching medical students.





Emily trained as an adult nurse in Liverpool and has always had a passion for promoting natural health, wellbeing and beauty. She completed her BAWMA training in 2013, shortly followed by the BAWMA CPD in cosmetic facial acupuncture. Emily was delighted to be offered the opportunity to work as a BAWMA tutor for the academic year 2013-14, and has thoroughly enjoyed the experience of sharing her knowledge with BAWMA students ever since. Previously Emily has lived and worked in the Arabian Gulf for over a decade, speaks arabic, and it is to the Middle East that she wishes to return in the future to introduce BAWMA services
